Our baby at 20 wks 5 days and Me at 20 wks Pregnant!

Our Ultrasound

We had our 4-D ultasound last Friday.  Talk about amazing.  Toby was really blown away by seeing the baby.  He/She likes to lounge with it's feet up above his forehead, legs are straight, so he sleeps in a v shape.  He didn't want to wake up much at that time.  If only they did ultrasounds when you went to bed.  Lots of activity then.  Everything looked good as far as they could tell.  And yes, we held out with determining the sex.  Though, our eyes sure were pealed to the screen to see if we could see anything.

 

We just can't come up with a girl name.  Hopefully God will inspire us soon.  I like knowing ahead of time.  That planner part of me, but we will see.  I really like the name Sophia, but Toby is not too excited about that.  We'll see.  If you want to give suggestions, keep in mind, we like a bit of Spanish sound to them, for the girls anyway, can't get too excited about Hispanic boy names.  My mom suggested Enrique, after my dad, but I just can't see my white husband yelling "Enrique!"  I don't know.  The names will come, I am sure.

 

I haven't posted any pictures lately because MSN Spaces is having technical difficulties.  So, until then you will have to keep looking at Christmas photos!  Although, it is snowing today, all day.  Sienna made a snowman.  He is so cute!

What a Wonderful Feeling

I have been feeling the baby now since just before 19 weeks.  I am 20 weeks tomorrow (Sunday).  It is such a reassuring, for one, and very special thing.  I look forward to when Toby will be able to feel the baby as well. 

 

We have our ultrasound on Friday, Feb 10th.  I am really looking forward to seeing the baby now that it is much bigger.  The last time we saw him/her was at 8 weeks.  So, now the baby has gone from looking like a little teddy bear to a baby.  It should be very fun.  I am sure that I will watch the tape over and over.

 

So, I don't know what to say when people ask how far along I am.  I usually say the weeks, but if I look on a calendar and count back from June 25th, I am 4 and 1/2 months, but my online thing tells me I am starting my 6th month?  I don't get it.  So, I guess I will say that I am in my 5th month.  4x5 is 20, right?

 

I am going to go watch a movie now with Toby and the girls, and relax and wait for that next kicking episode!  So amazing!
