Cash or Coco?
My sister had a little girl early this morning. So I have a beautiful little niece named Coco Emery. I can’t wait to meet her. I guess she looks like her dad and even smiled right away when she saw my sister. My sister bravely tried to have her vaginally, but little Miss Coco was not budging, so she came via c-section. But all went well and now I get to be called Tia!
I will post some pics when I get some.

Sienna is a bloggin’
Sienna is blogging now. She is so excited. She has a private blog, so you have to email me if you’d like to be added to her approved list of viewers.
A Boy or a Girl?
My sister was induced this morning and I am still waiting for a phone call to find out what she has…a daughter or a son. I am probably annoying my parents calling for updates all day long, but since I am not there, I have to know the play-by-play. My sister called me around 8pm and was dilated to a 6-7, so maybe in the wee hours of the morning I will get that phone call.
This brings back memories of Ayla’s birth and what an extraordinary time it was welcoming our new baby into our lives and the excitement of my mom and dad being there with us. These moments are the best!

My Current Read
Family Driven Faith by Voddie Baucham.
If you have kids, this is an incredible book about discipling your children. Not discipline, but discipling. We recently attended a Christian Heritage conference and Voddie was the main speaker. It was life-changing, really, for us as parents. We have the responsibility of raising children who walk with God. How we have so missed purposely discipling our kids. It is so easy to let Sunday School or Youth Group teach your kids, but that is not enough nor is it how God intended for our children to learn about Him. He told us to do it. We have been challenged to set this as priority in our lives to immerse our children with God’s Word and teach them a biblical worldview. This book really lays it out for you on how to begin doing this. And I have not even finished the book, because I want to try and take it step by step and apply it to my life. But I couldn’t wait to share this wonderful resource with any parents out there. I can’t encourage you enough to read this book.
